Kenny’s Belgian Waffles

Method
Heat up the waffle iron in advance
In the biggest mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and bicarbonate of soda
Using the second bowl beat two egg whites until stiff peaks are forming
For the third bowl you’ll need to mix the 2 egg yolks until light and fluffy
Add the buttermilk and melted butter
Fold the wet ingredients into the first bowl of dry ingredients
Once mixed, fold in the egg whites as delicately as you can
Pour the mixture into the hot waffle iron, not completely to the edges so it doesn’t drip
Bake according to the waffle iron’s instructions, normally 2-3 mins each
Serve with chopped fruit, squirty cream and chocolate sauce
